Financial Services Policy Manager (Banking and Insurance) - Membership Organisation - Central London (with 3 days per week remote working) - Circa £80,000-£88,000 plus benefits packageRobert Walters is hiring for a Finance Services Policy Manager for a leading membership organisation - This role is based out of their London office but can support remote working 3 days per week.This role sits as part of the Financial Services Faculty, providing leadership to members of this organisation, and representing the organization on matters related to Banking and Insurance.The role is comprised of two main elements:Policy and AdvocacyThe Financial Services Manager will represent the organisation and its members in advocating for improvements and positive changes in the Banking and Insurance sectors, aiming to position the organisation as an influential voice on policy matters in theUKThis work largely involves working with government, policy makers, regulatory bodies (e.g. FCA, PRA, HM Treasury etc.) and other leadership organisations involved in the Banking and Insurance sectors, attending round-tables, producing green and white papers,and contributing to thought leadership pieces, either in response to topical events or as part of more forward-thinking or systemic issues.Thought LeadershipThe Finacial Services Manager will contribute to production of intersting content for members of the organisation who work in banking or insurance based roles, including technical updates, topical content, thought-leadership pieces and other hot-topic areas.This is done in collaboration with a variety of third party stakeholders, and comes in a variety of formats such as writing newsletters/articles, composing policy positions, producing webinars and videos, updating the website and other related media, includingdealing with the print and broadcast media.The company in question is a world-renowned membership organisation, with over 100,00 members worldwide who work in Financial Services.The company are well-known for being a great place to work, with a significant focus on ethics, charitable work, and committed to ensuring a strong work-life balance and a fantastic working environment.For this role they are looking for someone with experience working in financial services, with a focus on either banking or insurance (or both).
