The business are planning to IPO in 12 months, so there is a lot of prep to do for that, as well as ensuring the smooth running of the InternationalFinancial Control and Reporting function.This role will suit someone who is a natural leader, who strives for excellence in everything they do, and who ultimately will be excited by driving the growth of the business. Energy, positivity and the technical ability to face off to C-Suite as well as closethe books on time and run audits are an essential part of this role. There is a lot to get your teeth sunk into and the role will lend itself to someone who is keen to learn and develop.Key Duties: Managing a team of 6 Accountants Responsibility for the businesses financial reporting and controls Manage the monthly, quarterly & annual statutory accounts Drive policy and procedure improvements and formalisation Responsible for the integration of acquired businesses into the group Build relationships with key stakeholders in Reg Reporting, Treasury, International teams and local auditors Drive improvements to the efficiency and quality of the financial reporting processesExperience Needed: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Fully Qualified Accountant Minimum of 6 years post qualified experience within Banking, FX Broking or FinTech firms Proven experience as a manager / leader Strong experience in financial reporting and controls Good IFRS 3, 9, 13 and/or 16 knowledge Have the ability to motivate and empower others at all levelsSalaries range from £80,000 - £100,000 + bonus, benefits etc.Please contact Harry Coleman at Trace Recruitment for immediate consideration or to ask me any questions.
