Job Description

Description Company Overview:This company is a successful media and publishing business with international reach and part of a larger global group based in heart of London. As they continue their expansion into new offerings, they are seeking a well-rounded and experienced Finance BusinessPartner to join their finance team.Finance Business Partner Position Overview:This role will provide strategic financial guidance and support key stakeholders as a bridge between the finance team and the business units, ensuring a clear understanding of the financial needs of the business and adherence to the necessary KPIs acrossthe non-finance financial departments. This position will play a key role in bridging the gap between functions and partnering with the department leads to drive success via key financial data and insights to support informed business decision-making. Thisrole will be pivotal in identifying financial risks and opportunities, as well as driving budgeting and forecasting and analysing financial performance.The Finance Business Partner plays a crucial role in the overall financial health and strategic directionof the company.Finance Business Partner Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing financial performance, identifying variances, trends and areas of improvement and advising on given information
  • Coordinating budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Providing insightful financial analysis
  • Driving financial data and systems use
  • Optimising and simplifying, where necessary, the current financial processes and procedures
  • Effectively keeping to set financial timescales and deadlines
  • Regularly reviewing and adjusting departmental KPIs and business priorities
  • Providing transparent governance to enable effective decision making
  • Preparing monthly reports and reporting on group level
  • Driving budgeting and forecasting
  • Providing commercial analysis
  • Driving financial analysis for wider finance team
  • Supporting on the companys strategic plan
  • Supporting on any ad-hoc projects
Qualifications:
  • Qualified (ACCA, ACA OR CIMA)
  • Proven experience in a finance business partnering role
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven track record partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset
Working Arrangement:This role will require the individual to work 3 days in the London office and 2 day working at home.Salary:Competitive salary, between £55,000- £64,000 per annum (DoE), and a great benefits package.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
