Job Description

Operating as a consultancy, managing agent or principal contractor, with a client base that includes global brands in over 30 countries.The opportunityBe a part of our facilities management business that oversees work for leading organisations across the public and private sectors around the world.To increase the engagement and resilient levels team members to reduce absences, optimise team morale and create wellbeing and mental health awareness.To manage the team in accordance with current HR practices (objectives, appraisals, pips, etc.) and to oversee the HR processes as and when required (such as for restructuring etc.).To be the conduit for connecting site based team members back to the corporate HQ by cascading information, encouraging attendance at corporate events and continually promoting our values.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building a relationship with the client that fosters trust and confidence to allow a true partnership style of operating the contract.
  • Safely delivering FM services in accordance with corporate and legislative requirements.
  • Actively contributing to the account health and safety via the safety leadership team.
  • Adapting, embracing and embodying our corporate philosophy and cascading this ethos to all team members to provide a consistent value adding experiences for all customers.
  • Delivering contribution targets and identifying additional opportunities to grow our contribution from both within the existing account and from the surrounding areas of where the client is located.
  • Effectively manage the supply chain and operational delivery to ensure maximum customer satisfaction service whilst monitoring spend and maintaining budgetary control.
  • Bringing to the table new ideas to keep the account fresh by fostering a culture where process improvements and innovation becomes the norm.
  • Ensuring that the visitors’ experience of attending the host’s building for a meeting is 5* plus and every conceivable touch point delivers a consistent premium experience.
  • Measuring and benchmarking service delivery and costs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and value for money is provided and savings opportunities identified.
  • Working with client stakeholders to review alignment, achieve goals and resolve escalated issues (and to have anticipated issues and provided solutions in advance where possible).
  • Mentoring and inspiring the team members to take full ownership of events within their control and to create a culture of going the extra mile.
  • Assisting and advising the client with external budgets and to liaise with our internal finance team for monthly financial reporting, budgets and forecasting.
  • Preparing, presenting and leading the client monthly, quarterly and six monthly meetings/reviews.
  • Supporting new initiatives and proposed changes by preparing compelling and robust business cases and submitting professionally constructed papers/reports.
  • Supporting and driving the sustainability, energy reduction and CSR initiatives.
  • Overseeing the project management of fit-outs, refurbishments and significant churn - including initial concepts and briefs, whilst overseeing the execution and post-delivery review with the introduction of seamless service delivery in place to reflect the new needs.
  • Overseeing the preparation of the service charge pack and to assist the client with their property strategy and forward planning.
  • Reviewing risk and to actively participate in the BCP and disaster recovery plan.
  • Taking the lead with external 3rd parties such as surveyors, solicitors, landlords’ agents and other specialists in property-related or legislative matters when required.
  • About you
  • A relevant degree qualification.
  • Holds a recognised HSE qualification.
  • Facilities management experience in a similar leadership role within the corporate office environment.
  • Effective stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Track record in delivering 5 star customer service.
  • Experience of leading high profile sites and teams.
  • Track record of delivering supply chain improvements and efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and experience of P&L/budgetary control.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven commercial acumen.
  • Experience of delivering compliant services to the highest QSHWE standards.
  • Good knowledge and experience of hard service delivery.
  • Genuine interest in the latest innovations and advancements in the FM industry.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office package (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
