Job Description

Purpose of the RoleThe Clients vision is to ensure all residents, occupiers and visitors to Television Centre (TVC) retain an excellent impression of the area through a lively, vibrant and colourful events programme that animates the spaces and engages with the local community.Reporting into the Head of Events & Enlivenment responsible for both Television Centre (TVC) and White City Place (WCP), the Events & Enlivenment Manager will focus on delivering place-shaping and marketing activity to engage with TVCs varied audiencesand support the Clients brand vision. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a dynamic and exciting calendar of events year-round, whilst engaging with occupiers to provide lifestyle services and providing administrative/front-of-housesupport as required.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with the site team, head office Place team, and closely with the clients asset management team, the Events & Enlivenment Manager will report to the Head of Events & Enlivenment and form a key part of the team that connects the Estate, its buildingsand its team with the occupiers who use it daily. The role is also key in strengthening the culture of the vibrant professional community at Television Centre, listening and responding to their needs and providing a year-round programme of events and contentto keep them engaged, both digitally and in person, whilst also supporting with on-site filming, external events and the delivery of a new digital app platform.Place-shaping: events

  • Reporting into the Head of Events & Enlivenment, but working independently, implement a structured calendar of events throughout the year that support the brand vision for TVC.
  • Delivery and daily liaising of 2TVC Enlivenment in partnership with the Reception Manager
  • Ensure seamless management of the events in accordance with site H&S standards.
  • Communicate the planned activity to the end user group (office staff, local community, visitors) to ensure engagement and attendance.
  • Seek and, when possible, implement opportunities to get attendee feedback and use this feedback to inform further events.
Strategy
  • The implementation of an exciting and dynamic occupier engagement strategy in line with the Head of Events & Enlivenment.
  • Develop strong relationships with key contacts within each of the occupier businesses, and lead on the development of a robust occupier database
  • Develop and implement a year round calendar of events to engage the occupiers
  • Lead on further development of the building app, its use by The Leadenhall Building community Promoting the new app and the programme of events
  • Provide content for use via social media
  • Liaising with occupiers to promote the events, discuss community initiatives, plus obtain, track and monitor feedback in real time.
Team support
  • Provide front-of-house reception support to welcome visitors and occupiers and create a premium experience.
  • Utilise the above lifestyle connections to support the service provided by the welcome reception team.
CSR
  • Create a plan for CSR that supports the client policies and ambitions
  • Forge links between the estates and the relevant local authority, neighbours, local community groups, London-wide organisations and media organisations
  • Run scheduled and agreed community events
Communication
  • Engage end users (residents, office workers, visitors and local community) of TVC with a communications programme to include, but not limited to:
    • CRM
    • Online / Digital
    • Social Media
    • Local Posters / Flyers
    • Consideration of new, innovative engagement activities
    • Work with PR Agencies (where appointed) to devise a publicity programme for events and activities
  • Contribute to the local website and social media presence, creating interesting and usable content that engages end users, to include:
    • Website content, including feeds from relevant external parties (e.g. local events, community updates)
    • Relevant and managed user generated content (e.g. social media feeds)
    • Consideration of new, innovative engagement activities
  • Using templates in InDesign and Illustrator, create and amend engaging promotional content.
Commercialisation
  • Drive commercial revenue opportunities and enhance customer experience by maximising income from sponsorship, experiential and advertising activities, always ensuring brand vision is supported
  • Manage the space as a venue for functions, filming or other events that either brings income to or positive publicity/awareness of Television Centre within brand guidelines
  • Work with leasing team to enable temporary retail pop up stores to maximise income if space is vacant.
Branding
  • Ensure that the clients brand values, personality and asset branding are represented when proposing and planning the calendar of events, community relations and communication with all customers.
  • When appropriate, contribute to the development of the branding for the assets, using end user and operational event management insights.
Administrative support
  • Managing budgets and reporting against spend.
  • Raising POs and handling invoices.
Annual planning and reporting
  • Supporting the Head of Events & Enlivenment, propose budgets and resource needed to deliver annual plans.
  • Select appropriate suppliers for events / commercial / communication activity.
  • Regularly review the plan, using customer feedback and performance metrics to drive improvements during the course of the year.
  • Provide quarterly reports to senior management and the clients representatives on activity, including ROI and customer feedback. Offer insights and suggestions on innovations and potential alterations to plan based on results.
Filming permits
  • Working with Head of Events and Enlivenment to implement the estate filming and photography plan, monitoring the inbox and approving requests.
General
  • Support the estate management teams with general activities when needed
  • Attend wider Savills RISE forums and engage with creative/events team on other London sites (e.g. Battersea Power Station, Here East).
