Job Description

Digital Transformation Delivery Manager (Legal Technology Programme Manager) – £650/day (INSIDE IR35) 8 Months contract initial Skills: Programme Management, Digital Transformation, Digital Project Delivery, Stakeholder management, Law firm, Legal, Legal Tech Role Responsibilities:

  • Running and managing Digital Teams to delivery projects that impact front-line legal activities. In particular, selecting and deploying technologies and applications that will require process redesign and changes to ways of working.
  • Understanding of main concepts of both transactions and disputes and the various work types that a global law firm generates.
  • Being able to work across different lines of the business and those nuances that the business tools may have.
  • Working with vendors, from the legal technology ecosystem, and key stakeholders, from the law firm, to manage issues that will likely touch on information security, data residency, escrow, and client confidentiality.
Role Relationships:
  • Working alongside lawyers at all levels of the firm requires an understanding of timing, personal requirements, how to prioritise and deadline management are very important.
  • Working with Project teams within Legal Technology to deliver improved products, processes, services, and technologies to meet the highest of standards and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure successful delivery of solutions that satisfy business needs.
  • Co-operate with other IT teams to ensure the successful transition of new/amended services into business as usual (BAU) support.
  • Work alongside Engagement Managers and Business Analysts to engage programme stakeholders and ensure the thorough and accurate capture of their business requirements.
Experience and Skills:
  • Experience working in a law or professional services firm.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Self-aware individuals.
  • Significant ProgrammeManagement experience in anAgile environment.
  • Experience leading medium-large teams.
  • Strong background in development and implementation projects/programmes.
  • Project Management Qualifications such as Prince 2.
