Job Description

Content Editor - Contemporary Womenswear BrandRare opportunity to join this exciting highgrowth business at an exciting time of investment and brand development. We are looking for an experienced Content Editor from fashion related business, or an established Copywriter looking for a progressive career move. Crucially, we are looking for excellent written ability and experience working across a range of platforms and covering both long and short-form copy. Content Editor - Contemporary Womenswear BrandRole Overview:Working as part of the wider Marketing team this role is responsible for planning and delivering the written content for all marketing channels for the season (including copywriting for all emails, catalogue and magazine articles, as well as any ad hoc pieces). You will work closely at all times with Creative to ensure the production of the correct assets to support the content plan. You will also propose appropriate brand-aligned contributors / talent to work with, managing this process to the successful completion of any content briefs. .Responsibilities:Campaign Planning under the direction of the Marketing Director:* Contributing to the development of campaign concepts and building out the key campaign messages for the season* Identifying the content stories to flow through the campaign, taking into account key commercial periods* Identifying top line product opportunities to fit in the campaign based on insights from Digital and Buying /Design teams* Proposing an initial direction for the photoshoots to be interpreted by the Head of Creative* Leading and influencing the matrixed Content team on a day-to-day basis to plan and own the content strategy for the season * Translating the seasonal folder provided by Buying covering all key trends, words and feel for the new collection, for the understanding of the wider team* Working with Buying and Design to create a glossary for the season and rolling this out to the wider Marketing team* Ensuring there is effective connectivity across the team and the marketing outputs, questioning the objective and end use of all content at planning stage* Driving and leading regular content team meetings to engage on seasonal content requirements* Creating a roadmap of ideas to revisit from content sharing group and competitor / industry research* Utilising lessons learnt, insights and analytics from Digital Marketing team to guide content planning* Identifying potential content gaps and making suggestions for additional activity, shoots and/or insights as appropriateDevising the day-by-day seasonal content plan including:o Key product focuses to be agreed along side the Buying team and how these translate into working contento Interpretation of the commercial stance under the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Directoro Interpretation of the brand values and USPso Detailing additional lifestyle content, identifying the talent to deliver these, where appropriate (alongside PR)o Ensuring there is enough pace change throughout the seasono Ensuring all gathered content is given enough air time across the marketing outputsContent Delivery* Setting out guidelines for all content activity (photoshoot, event, video etc.) detailing what is required and how it will be used across the marketing channels, including any briefs to external partners, influencers, talent etc.* Owning all content activity critical paths and delivering all content activity on time and within initial guidelines* Devising, writing and briefing all emails, homepages, app pushes, articles for the MAGAZINE and printed magazine* Creative copy writing for all print pieces including seasonal catalogues, in store postcards and vinyls and any adhoc pieces* Selecting appropriate creative templates alongside Digital Designer to compliment the content being executed* Selecting appropriate products with guidance from the Buying team and ensuring regular communication to ensure messaging is still correct* Selecting creative assets and picture edits under guidance from Creative Brand Manager / Marketing Director* Ensuring that the tone of voice, messaging, and personality of the brand are consistent across all channels(including liaising with the relevant Content and Social Coordinators to align product descriptions and online and social content).Customer and Market Awareness* Understanding the customer and brand handwriting, maintaining a customer focus in all activities and decisions* Keeping abreast of sales performance and relevant competitor activity across all channels* Visiting stores, concessions and on line regularly - highlighting any ideas, opportunities or concernsTo ApplyTo apply for this role and for your chance to join this exciting, forward thinking business, please apply by sending your CV via the link on this portal.Profiles Creative is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
