CIO - Outside IR35Our client,a global company, are recruiting for a CIO to join the team on a contract basis and their offices in London.Role:

Leads innovation and drives continuous improvement across the technology and data landscape
Works with other departments to use new technologies to streamline company policies and rules
Fosters forward-thinking vision to enable the business to respond to (and drive) digital disruption in the home improvements marketplace
Delivers continuous, rapid change in an agile way to enable the business to respond rapidly to customer needs
Defines data strategy and governance to ensure data is accessible, usable, available and consistent across the entire business
Define business change strategy and drive improvements
Develops an Enterprise Architecture to enable the delivery of business objectives
Oversees IT budgets
Evaluates new technology and makes recommendations on technological solutions
Identifies competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of a company
Running our existing estate and identifying how to improve it
Identifies an IT operating model and puts in plans to execute
Optimises and manage production technology and data platforms to support business
Protects the integrity of the operational environment through an effective service transition process
Drives IT estate improvement activities
Manages drive towards service management automation and self-service
Develops strategic partnerships to drive efficiencies and cost-effective use of third parties
Ensures services and data are safe and secure
Manages IT related security risk

Skills

C Suite level engagement
Experience of driving business change using technology
Experience of leading / acting as a CIO or similar role
Experience of leading large complex technology projects
Demonstrates evidence of running IT and Digital teams
Understanding of modern technical concepts, SOA architecture, IT Service Management, Agile Development, Devops, Data, Web, IOT, Analytics, Information Architecture Cloud etc
Relevant technical skills and understanding
Advanced IT Knowledge
Team Building
Critical Thinking / Interpersonal Skills
Business Acumen
Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
