A Lloyds insurance broker is recruiting for a Cashier & Treasury Assistant to join its London based finance team.Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role has been created to undertake Cashier/Treasury Assistant activities on behalf of the UK Group. You will be responsible for managing the UK Group banking relationships, monitoring the daily level of fundsheld within the UK Group together with assisting with the maturity of investment deposits and hedge contracts.Key accountabilities will include (but not limited to) account reconciliations, maintaining multiple bank accounts, client money management, investment review and maintaining the investment policy, multi-currency management including the review of potentialhedging options and currency reviews, plus managing compliance matters e.g. systems and procedures.Applicants must have previous Treasury & Cashiering experience, ideally gained within an insurance environment or similar, possess strong reconciliation and Excel skills, be aware of FCA requirements and be comfortable working towards tight deadlines.
