Job Description

Business Development & Marketing Team Executive - Client Development - City Law Firm - London - up to £39k (DOE) + benefits

  • Fantastic role supporting the BD team for specific practice areas
  • Assisting with all elements of the BD process including client development, marketing activities and event support
  • An understanding of business development and marketing fundamentals is highly advantageous
  • Marketing qualifications is beneficial but not essential
  • Experience gained in a legal or professional services organisation is needed
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, proactive Team Administrator, with demonstrable understanding of Business Development and Marketing fundamentals,to join a leading City Law firm on a permanent basis as soon as possible.What’s on offerThis is a great opportunity to join a progressive, friendly and successful City law firm.Our client is offering a competitive salary (up to £39k, dependent on experience) and core and flexible benefits schemes, which includes 25+ days annual leave, pension scheme, life assurance, private medical insurance, enhanced sick pay and maternity/paternitypay, discretionary bonus, wellness subsidy, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, dental cover and more!Standard working hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm and hybrid working is offered.Key responsibilities as the Business Development Team Executive will include:
  • Attending and minuting monthly BD meetings
  • Managing the BD & Marketing reports for the relevant practice areas
  • Tracking client feedback and assisting with firm’s client feedback programme
  • Adding and amending content on the website including proofreading blogs and assisting with podcasts and vlogs
  • Assisting in managing events including preparing and sending out invitations and liaising with relevant teams
  • Providing assistance at events in-house and at external venues
  • Following up on ROI metrics for internal and external events
  • Managing social media for practice areas
  • Managing email marketing campaigns and reporting on performance
  • Updating the intranet regarding BD activities for designated departments
  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation for tenders, pitches and other business development opportunities
  • Researching relevant market news and assisting with competitor analysis
  • Assisting with the preparation of submissions to legal directories
  • Processing BD expenses and invoices
And moreWhat we’re looking for:
  • Experience in a similar role where an understanding of business development and marketing fundamentals has been gained
  • Experience working within a legal or professional services organisation
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills with proactive time management and the ability to multi-task
  • Accurate copywriting and proofreading skills with excellent written and oral communications skills
  • IT savvy with good MS Office and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Good academics - a degree is desirable and a marketing qualification would be beneficial
