The roleWe are looking for a proactive and high achieving BDM with a track record of exceeding targets, a excellent sales skill set; have a consultative approach to identifying client requirements, providing high value solutions, demonstrating ROI, and closing business.You will have experience of selling services and solutions. Dealing with Director and CSuite level decision makers within your client base. You will demonstrate impeccable communication skills and a tenacious, adaptable attitude to building solid workingrelationships with business prospects and working in a rapidly changing environment. You will have experience of working with lead gen/ SDR teams, including collaborating to ensure optimal output and high quality meetings.Key responsibilities• Build and maintain a 500% pipeline• Sales calls/ meetings to proactively move opportunities along the pipeline• Maximise all sales opportunities and achieve individual targets• Establish customer needs by building rapport, using effective questioning techniques, and matching to Sedex product and service offerings• Demonstrate Sedex products and services following requirement gathering• To liaise with Head of Sales to arrange customer visits where appropriate• Respond to incoming enquires in a timely manner according to internal SOPs• Complete proposals and liaise with internal stakeholders for completion, as requested by Head of Sales• Support Head of Sales Sales by generating weekly, accurate, sales and forecasting reports• Qualify inbound leads effectively and making quantified solution recommendations by matching business requirements to Sedex solutions• Action incoming emails to sales group• Actions as required from sales visits, product demonstrations and calls• Maintain an accurate record of contacts and account information in Salesforce to reflect the appropriate contact and market intelligence• Feed into market research and customer segmentation to identify potential leads• Contribute to competitive analysis for key markets, industries, and customer segments• Collaborate with the marketing team where required to help to develop high impact marketing and lead generation campaigns• Assist in representing Sedex at external events and meetings• Other sales and market research related duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills & Experience• B2B telesales, and product demonstration experience preferably in Business Intelligence/ Big Data/ SAAS• Experience exceeding targets and meeting deadlines in pure New Business generation and KPI driven environments• Excellent communication skills, confident, impeccable presentation, and negotiation skills• Understanding of personal KPI’s and how they feed into sales plans, and exceeding targets• Proven experience producing and executing comprehensive new business sales plans• Strong administrative and CRM experience / proficient and comfortable using salesforce.com• Demonstrable experience of putting together ROI and solution focused client proposals• Excellent revenue forecasting abilities• Highly motivated and collaborative team player with an interest in working with a dynamic sales team• Strong organisational skills with exceptional time and capacity management ability• Computer literacy: Excel, Word, Powerpoint• Strong teamwork and influencing skills; the ability to collaborate with key internal stakeholders and departments to achieve objectives within tight time frames• Interest to work within the responsible sourcing and ethics sector, with experience of this being a desirable attribute• Experience of using Sales Engagement platforms (e.g. Salesloft, Outreach, Groove, etc) - Desirable• Experience of using data platforms for lead sourcing (E.g. - ZoomInfo) - Desirable• Experience of selling to, and exceeding targets in EMEA - DesirableAboutSedex Over 75,000 global companies have chosen Sedex as their trusted partner to create more socially and environmentally sustainable businesses and supply chains.
