Job Description

Kennedys have created a new role for a Business Continuity & Resilience Manager to support the Head of BC in the development, training, and implementation of the Business Continuity Resilience strategy.Responsible for supporting the implementation and strengthening of the firms global Business Continuity Management framework at a strategic and operational level. You will be the key point of contact for locally identified Business Continuity Coordinators,supporting the Information Security team with ISO27001 and client audits.TeamThe Facilities team provide strategic support on projects, risk management, vendor management budget management and ensures the firm acts in accordance with local regulations and ISO standards.The Facilities team have presence in all Kennedys offices.Key responsibilities

  • Support the development and roll out of the Business Continuity (BC) program in alignment with ISO22301 across the firm.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships and credibility with global stakeholders, operational teams and external stakeholders, ensuring responsibilities are clear and delivered at site level of the Business Continuity framework.
  • Participate as a member of the respective regional Incident Management Teams to respond to significant disruptive events.
  • Ensure coordination and compliance of third-party suppliers for BC provisions.
  • Facilitate the completion of Business Impact Analysis (BIAs), risk assessments and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders (primarily Business Continuity Coordinators) across the organization on how to use the firms business continuity software tool.
  • Develop Business Continuity testing and exercising scenarios for operational and strategic risks across Crisis Management, Incident Management and Emergency Response.
  • Host and facilitate live and table-top exercises to test BCP effectiveness and response team capabilities.
  • Accurately reporting on key Business Continuity indicators, continually identifying areas for improvement across key departmental activities, systems and impacts.
  • Review and update policies, management and operational processes.
  • Support Information Security team with ISO27001 audits.
Required experience
  • Proven working knowledge of writing assessments and/or requirements gathering.
  • Substantial experience working in a similar role within the last two years.
  • Experience of delivering complex programmes across an organisation and a passion for Business Continuity and risk management.
  • Experience with managing and developing teams and establishing and maintaining cross-functional and positive working relationships, as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to incidents.
  • Desired experience in ISO27001, ISO22301 and completing internal audits.
