Job Description

Back End Developer / Engineer (Node.js AWS) London to £100kDo you have expertise with Node.js backend development combined with a strong knowledge of AWSYou could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a scale up payments technology company that specialise in smooth lining Insurance payouts for major brokers.As a Back End Developer you will join a small team and take ownership of back end development for the core payments processing platform. Youll be using Node.js and building API integrations within an AWS, microservices environment, designing, building andmaintaining scalable and secure back end systems.Location / WFH:You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the London office 1.5 days per week.Requirements:

  • You have strong backend web development experience with Node.js (JavaScript)
  • You have a strong knowledge of AWS, ideally including serverless architecture with AWS Lambda
  • You have experience of building integrations with API business partners
  • You have a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices and the ability to design services with a focus on robustness, scalability and resilience
  • You have experience with microservices
  • Youre a technologist who enjoys problem solving and collaborating
  • It would be great if you had previous experience of working on payments or accounting software
