Job Description

A prestigious US firm is looking to hire a new AML Analyst on a permanent to assist Senior Analysts on all AML related cases:

  • Generous salary of up to £70,000

The AML Analyst will have overall responsibility for the weekly review - updating and cross-referencing of AML records with new client matters and maintenance of all AML records including approvals.AML Analyst responsibilities:
  • Liaising with the MLRO, COLP, COFA and Director of Administration in respect of training initiatives on risk and compliance related matters.
  • Managing online training initiatives on risk and compliance initiatives.
  • Act as point of contact for internal queries
  • Research information on existing and new clients using interfaces such as Companies House, World-Check etc.
  • Work alongside Conflicts team and assess risk for client matter
  • Assisting with updating firm policies and procedures
  • Assist in preparing any materials needed for third party audits
  • Reviewing and updating SRA records to reflect changes in personnel.
  • Assisting attorneys qualified outside England & Wales with practising certificate renewals.
AML Analyst skills:
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations and legislation
  • Previous working experience in AML within a law firm (or professional services environment)
  • Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills
  • Excellent IT skills including all of the Microsoft office packages
