Job Description

We’re working with a long-established social welfare charity with an international reach, to find a proactive and committed Accounts Receivable Assistant for a period of 4-6 months.Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you’ll work as part of a dedicated team to process transactions in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Issuing receipts for all income received
  • Preparing and entering journals onto the accounting system
  • Preparing all cheques and cash received for banking
  • Processing donations
  • Processing rental income and inputting rents journals
  • Managing incoming mail
  • Managing the petty cash
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts receivable, charity experience is desirable but not essential. You will have experience of using multidimensional finance systems and have high attention to detail. You will be available to startin early January.The role will be mainly office based with 5 days per week expected for the first few weeks, reducing to 3-4.
