Job Description

Semh Teaching assistant - Chorley

    • We are currently looking for a number of experienced SEN EBD teaching assistants (TAs) to join this Good SEN School in Chorley. The school caters for students aged 11 - 16 with extreme behaviorThis PRU school are looking for a TA to join their school.As an SEN TA, you would be working 1:1 with students who requires additional assistance in a range of lessons. You would be supporting the subject teacher in a class of up to 5 students alongside up to 2 other TAs. Senior leadership at this school have been praised for their excellent knowledge and understanding and ability to promote the safety and well-being of pupils around the school. As an SEN TA, you would be expected to maintain this calm and safe environment for all students and you should be adaptable and have a good sense of humour.This SEN School is looking for SEN TAs with experience in working with children with challenging behaviour or similar needs. Experience in Team Teach de-escalation is desirable however the school provides training in this to all support staff.APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION
