The Employer & Opportunity:An independent firm of Chartered Accountants with reputation for skill and excellence seek a Tax Accountant to join their team in Chorley, Lancashire.Through providing flexibility, work-life balance and creating a close knit and inclusive culture, this firm have high levels of staff retention - half of their close-knit team have been with the business over 10 years.Although further study isn’t essential this role would suit someone qualified or currently studying who is looking to become part of a versatile team. This role would be ideal for someone who can take responsibility for the running of the Tax department.The Duties:As Tax Accountant, you will deliver bespoke tax planning, tax advisory and compliance work as well as personal and corporate tax returns and handling your own client portfolio.You will be seen as the subject matter expert and go to person for any queries or more advanced tax and VAT work.The Requirements:At least 6 years experience within a similar role in Accountancy Practice is essential due to the complexity of some of the duties you will undertake .
