And as the UK arm of a global organisation we can offer the sense of social community often associated with a small, localbusiness; combined with the expected advantages of working for a far larger employer: great benefits; dedication to identifying talent; and huge investment in staff development.Job PurposeThe Senior Developer is responsible for most aspects of Primetics software development including tools & processes.The candidate will contribute to a clear vision with the aim of ensuring that development service, quality, efficiency, and revenue targets are achieved and maintained.Reporting line/teamThis role is part of the Development team and reports to the Development Team Leader.Key accountabilitiesComplete software design & development activities to ensure compliance with service delivery contractual obligations and commitments Where appropriate provide technical advice regarding product(s) the team develops based on an in-depth knowledge of the product, customers, and any existing support issues Development of and adherence to industry best practice and/or corporate programming / testing standards and software production Work with the Development Team, Customer Services and Professional Services for project and customer support based activities Execute Continuous Improvement and/or Lessons Learned in known areas of Development to improve quality and efficiency Mentoring junior members of the teamKey competenciesWorks well autonomously and manage own workload Uses own initiative to identify solutions and continuously improve the processes and service they provide Adaptable to changing requirements and able to react quickly, accurately and appropriately without significant assistance Builds strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and challenges and presenting them with value add solutions Strong written and verbal communication skillsEnjoys collaboration and works well with others Excellent time management and attention to detailSkills:
