Job Description

Did you know we have been awarded top UK & Global Employer 5 Years Running!This role is working with our brand Pasquil the UKs largest supplier of Roof Truss products at our site in Chorley, we require a Management Accountant to maintain effective control over the Companys financial reporting systems and procedures to enable the production of accurate, timely and relevant management information, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and internal policies.How will you contribute to our purpose

  • Develop and maintain financial controls within the Kerridge Financial system to ensure disciplines are adhered to and safeguard the assets of the Company.
  • Influence behaviour with regular contact and training for non-finance personnel on policies, procedures and best working practices.
  • Ensure adherence to reporting requirements and deadlines set by Group on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Manage key cost lines in the P&L account (ensuring accuracy of accruals and prepayments).
  • Assist in the production of monthly Financial Management Accounts for the manufacturing cost centres, design cost centres and the central cost centre to trial balance level.
  • Maintain responsibility for the completion, content and accuracy of key Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the Finance Controller in all matters relating to the preparation, provision and resolution of queries relating to the statutory audit of the companys financial records and improvement of internal controls and procedures.
  • Production of the Management Accounts for the business unit and all branches.
  • Liaise with Business Unit colleagues on issues related to the accuracy, content and integrity of trading branch reporting.
  • Additional RequirementsWhat skills and experience are we looking for
  • Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW
  • 2 years post-qualified experience
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience communicating with confidence at all levels
