Their Client portfolio also continues to grow as does the team.Hybrid working is on offer.Your new role as Loan Manager:Duties will include:Summarising lengthy loan agreements & documentation, extracting deliverables, and then passing to Operations teamReading & understanding legal documents, particularly around priority of paymentsEnsuring the Borrower understands the obligations of the loan agreementManagement of a loan portfolioSupporting the Operations team with interest rate & fee calculations as well as payment collection datesCollection & analysis of borrower reporting (rent rolls, operating statements & covenants)Preparation of investor & lender reportsManaging the loan closing process and ensuring loan closing checklists are accurately maintained and updatedMaintaining the preparation of loan summaries and task trackersLiaising with various external bodies such as borrowers, lenders, asset managers, property managers, project monitors, valuers, and solicitorsPreparation of payments from borrowers accounts and payments from the company accounts to lenders.Ad-hoc project related tasksThe Experience & Qualifications Required:The successful Candidate shall be/have:Experience of reading basic loan documentationGood numeracy & financial skills - need to be able to check interest calculations are correctIntermediate Excel - SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables. Ability to use complex formula structures to add up a column.Relationship management skills. You should have a good way / pleasant manner with people.You could have either worked in Banking as a Relationship Manager / Assistant Relationship Manager / Relationship Director / Portfolio Manager, or you may have started off your career in Accounting & Finance and youre now looking to build on these skillsto take your career in a different direction.
