Company details and job overview:Within easy commute from the M6 and M61 in Chorley, this established software solutions business have seen an increase in demand both during the current climate and also during a prolonged period of growth. With the benefit of being part of a larger group withturnover £400m+ they are currently in a transition to a national rollout of a new EPR system to enhance the reporting capacity. During this time there is an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the established finance team on a 12-18month FixedTerm Contract. With a solid and growing Client base across the UK, they are also on the verge of enhancing their business proposition with exciting growth plans set for 2022 and beyond. Your new role as Management Accountant:As Management Accountant you shall take the lead in finance for the month end routine, producing detailed board pack analysis and meaningful month end accounts. Supervising junior members of the team you shall support the BAU for the business and support non-financialheads to understand the numbers in a business partnering capacity. As Management Accountant you shall manage the budget and forecasting process whilst also providing support with the year end audit process. Working on SAGE you shall assist in the cleansingof financial data ready for the system transition whilst ensuring the smooth running of the finance department. The business are also keen to streamline process, with a scope to develop controls you shall also seek to enhance this area of finance and be giventhe opportunity to add value. As the business move at pace you shall also provide ad hoc reporting to commercial heads across the business. Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:To be considered you shall have operated in a similar role and have the experience in the area of management accounting for a minimum of 3 years. With exposure to SAGE you shall also be rehearsed in supervising junior member of staff having operated in a fastpaced finance environment. With strong excel skills, you shall be hungry to learn and develop with a proven ability to partner across operations.
