Job Description

Bayman Atkinson Smythe are recruiting an interim financial planning & analysis managerfor a highly successful, global distribution and services company in Lancashire. The FP&A manager partners with the operations, supply chain and the senior leadershipteam to provide accurate, timely MI to improve decision making and enhance growth. This is a highly commercial role and will require the following tasks to be completed:

  • Develop and implement the annual operating plan and quarterly forecast to reflect current expectations of the business.
  • Business partner with operations leaders to set actionplans to achieve the annual operating plan and provide a daily interface with operations teams on various financial issues.
  • Prepare monthly board reports and present to senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare & review monthly KPIs to determine methods of increasing productivity.
  • Capital investment appraisal.
  • Leadon key projects including systems, cost, financial reporting & continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide additional support at month end to the management accounting function
The financial planning & analysis manager will have exposure to colleagues across the company so strong communication & influencing skillsare essential to carry out the role effectively. Proficiency on SAP & Hyperion would be advantageous as well as advancedExcel skills. This is 100% remote working. This is an initial 6 month contract but could lead to a longer term opportunity.
