This employer are seeking a talented Accounts / Finance Manager to join their expanding IT MSP team.Working in a modern, open plan office as the Accounts / Finance Manager, you will enjoy a varied role applying your accounting skills in day-to-day situations whilst controlling regular processes ranging from raising invoices and answering client queries, VAT and RTI returns, management accounts and board packs, and management of a small Accounts team and occasional transactional processing.As part of a growing business, you will also be expected to be involved in improvements to their systems, including reviews and implementations of new processes and systems.You will have strong customer facing skills and must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, inc. board level. You must be client-oriented, patient and professional in order to deal with customers and your colleagues. They have an excellent range of benefits and you will receive a competitive salary in line with your experience level.You will be/have:- Either part/fully qualified AAT or above, or QbE with a min. 3 years. Accountancy practice experience is desirable.- Enthusiastic and ready to lead change within a growing business.- Expected to work autonomously with a can-do, problem solving attitude, meeting deadlines and acting as a contact point for colleagues, customers and stakeholders. - Experienced in a service-based industry is required, experience of the technology sector is advantageous.- Able to demonstrate strong analytical skills; high-level use of Excel (i.e. knowledge of pivots/VLOOKUP)). Other analytical tool experience advantageous.- Excellent knowledge of Sage 50. Ability to use ODBC to connect Sage/Excel advantageous, as would experience with other accounting solutions.- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients up to senior management levels.- Excellent overall computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) required. An awareness of technology products advantageous.- Experience of ISO9001 and ISO27001 advantageous.This company offer a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 p.a.
