Job Description

The Role - Remote Role Field based. Business Development Manager - Pasquill - Chester/ChorleyAt Saint-Gobain people matter to us, and we try to show that every day. Gibbs and Dandy have been in the industry for over 175 years so we can proudly say weknow a thing or two about providing our customers with the tools and materials they need to complete their building projects.As a Business Development Manager youll primarily be out in the field identifying and securing new business, networking with existing and prospective customers to show them just what we can offer. Youll also stay ahead of the curve on market trends andcompetitor activity, using this information alongside customer spend patterns to grow sales and drive targets for your team - all whilst providing the fantastic service our customers know and love. This is Full time hours of work with a competitive salary.RequirementsWhat skills and experience are we looking for

  • First and foremost, attitude counts for a lot here at Saint-Gobain so we want to ensure that our employees align with our values of delivering exceptional customer service with a can do attitude
  • The ability to drive as this is a field based role you will be required to drive to customer sites 4/5 days per week.
  • Experience of managing customer accounts and/or a sales portfolio in Builders Merchant or Construction background will be preferred (though not essential)
  • Experience of working remotely/Organising and managing self, whilst also working as part of a team
  • Graduate calibre preferable but not essential
  • Effective communication skills are essential
  • A keen interest in self development to deliver the best service.
