UK Installations Manager - Joinery - Carpentry ( carpenter - Joiner - Site) - Based in a glorious location South of Stockport near a lot of trees!Team of 2 as part of a company of 23 people - you will be no24 - A key player in their future growth!Are youEntrepreneurial Brill communicator, commercial brain, switched on Want to join a wicked 2mil T/O business on the riseNegotiable salary wicked benefits and moreThey are, simply ace people and a real people, togetherness orientated team and leadership model.Working on, high end, high quality, joinery masterpieces on prestigious projects UK wide.YOU WILL - YES YOU WILL, be hands on, get stuck in and ultimately build a team as the company grows! The pipeline is IMPRESSIVE to say the least! Ok so thats the sales pitch - Below is the actual job - youll work hard and want real progression and to build something (excuse the pun)Youll get lots of support from us as the managerial role develops.A word from the MD (who has done this job)!

    • We need someone with lots of joinery experience, particularly on site, who is a really accomplished installer/ fitter in their own right.
    • Year 1- Take a hands-on lead on some of the bigger installations with our existing fitter to support.
    • On the more managerial side, (client facing and organised) we need someone to be on-site at the start of a job, setting up our in-house fitter, and our contract fitters - handing over the job, going though all the fitting drawings/ documents etc.
    • Theyll also need to be checking in on a daily basis with these jobs as they progress to make sure they are on track and be on hand to deal with any issues on site as they come up.
    • Communication is a big factor - were often working on large residential projects as part of a wider project team and being able to manage our relationships with our partner organisations, dealing with any issues on either side professionallyand amicably is key to getting the job done and keeping business on the right track.
    • Admin wise, this person is going to need to be an organiser - working with the Production Controller to set and managing the fitting calendar.
    • Checking/ visiting site ahead of installations to ensure the site is ready, checking fitting packs and fitting kit is sorted, organising fitting logistics.
    • Attention to detail: We would like this person to carry out all of our technical surveys in time. We need someone with a meticulous approach to surveying and the documentation of surveys, who can also apply considerable joinery knowledgein this process.
    • Were often installing very high value architectural joinery in prestigious homes, pieces that have been several months in the making. Mistakes at survey stage can be very expensive to resolve at the fitting stage and being able to take that responsibility in their stride will be a defining characteristic.
