Job Description

Vehicle Acquisition Team LeaderWiltshire£35,000 - £37,000 + BonusOur client are an award winning fleet management company, they are going through a period of prolonged growth and are seeking a Team leader to join their vehicle acquisition team.ResponsibilitiesVehicle Acquisition Team Leader

  • Manage the commencement of leases, in life management of lease contracts and the end of term process, including early terminations and event-driven terminations (e.g. total loss, theft etc.), ensuring proceeds from the vehicle sales are allocated and credit/debitsare booked against clients.
  • Oversee the sale of vehicles via a variety of methods, auction, salvage or driver direct sale through to completion, ensuring Holman systems are updated to reflect the status of the vehicle and making sure that payments flow through the system
  • Ensure manufacturer and dealer discounts are loaded and used correctly in Holman quoting systems
  • Assist with the development of choice lists for clients company vehicle policies
  • Manage the team performance, against objectives, coaching and guiding team members to improve knowledge and skills where required
  • Undertake regular 1-2-1s, return to work meetings, where required, and manage the teams annual appraisals, following up, where required
  • Monitor the delivery and performance of the department against KPIs, making suggestions to develop and improve performance, where appropriate, to ensure delivery of a comprehensive and quality service to internal and external customers
Experience/QualificationsVehicle Acquisition Team Leader
  • A good general level of education to a minimum of degree level or equivalent working experience / knowledge
  • A proven track record in team management with a minimum of two years experience managing a large diverse team
  • Experience of fleet requirements through dealership, fleet management or similar would be advantageous
  • Experience of working within a quality, process driven environment with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • A proven track record of dealing with customer care situations
