Job Description

Sourcing Assistant£20,000 - £25,000 per annum (depending on experience) + excellent benefitsChippenham, Wiltshire12 Month Fixed Term ContractWould you love to work for an international and growing company Are you a recent graduate, whose strengths lie in data analysis and trend reporting If so, then apply today, as we would love to hear from you!Working in partnership with this market leading client, we are currently recruiting for a diligent Sourcing Assistant to join their dynamic and supportive team in Chippenham. Due to continued growth within the department, you will be providing daily support to the Senior Sourcing Manager to ensure services are procured in an efficient, professional, ethical and cost effective manner.The role:

  • Identify, manage and where possible mitigate supply risks
  • Create and sustain competitive advantage
  • Support the input data gathering required for sourcing, tendering, benchmarking, selection and onboarding processes
  • Maintain a database of incumbent profiles, contracts, prices, cost saving projects
  • Research relevant intelligence to support timely re-negotiation of contracts
  • Manage information requests
  • Assist in optimizing sourcing processes
  • Person specification:
  • Qualified to degree level - within business, science or technical or equivalent
  • Previous data analysis and trend reporting experience
  • Robust Microsoft Excel skills - including VLookups and Pivots
  • Strong knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Highly numerate
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Pro-active and professional approach
