Due to the secure nature of the programme/role, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through National Security Vetting to obtain this clearance Your future duties and responsibilitiesThe Solution Architect will be responsible for end-to-end understanding and creation of hybrid cloud migration solutions to fit in with existing solutions or to accomplish the migrations of new and legacy functionality. As part of that there will be specificfocus on assessing the business requirements and determining how the IT system can meet those needs. The Infrastructure Architect will also be responsible for identifying, developing, and improving technical solutions aligned with business objectives.- Overall leadership for building and integrating the technical elements of the cloud migration roadmap.- Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to deliver against the plan.- Resolving technical problems as they arise.- Providing leadership and guidance to the technical team.- Leading on the research with emerging technology trends including alignment with Hosting Provision Programmes.- Assessing the business impact of recommended technical choices.
