We are working with a leading software supplier to the public transport industry. From buses to trains to taxis, their systems help to make public transport a safer, more convenient and pleasurable experience. You may already have seen some of their public-facing mobile and web systems at Transport for London, and other leading names in the transport industry.The RoleWe are hiring for a Software Developer to work on Passenger information products (websites and Apps). You’ll have a University degree and a few years of experience in a commercial organisation.The role will be a mix of delivering new projects and supporting current products, together with helping us define and deliver the next generation of products.About YouWe’re looking for someone with the following skills.- Your willingness to learn is more important than what you know today- You are self-motivated and able to prioritise activities without continuous oversight or supervision.- You’re a problem solver, someone who takes ownership and gets stuff done- You’ll be able to produce quality code to time and specification- You’ll be comfortable in a small team and able to communicate with peers and customers equally.Your Coding Skills- Java, Spring , AngularJS and general javaScript / JQuery knowledge- HTML, XML, XSD, SOAP, WSDL, JSON and RESTful interfaces.- Apache, Tomcat- Eclipse / STS / IntelliJ IDEOutstanding candidates might also be able to offer us Android skills:- Android SDK development, Gradle and third party Android libraries- Android Studio, Playstore, Google API management including FirebaseRemote working applications accepted.sIf you’ve got this far and have something to offer us, then please send us your CV !
