This is a key role within the Product & Tech team, driving the evolution of our Symbio mobile application, which provides access to our market leading remote clinical services to small and medium-sized enterprises.At HealthHero we expect our developers to own the entire software development lifecycle including refining business requirements, design, development, deployment, monitoring, continuous support and maintenance. Owning the whole process empowers developersto contribute to a wider context in the business and breaks down silos.We are a collaborative and growing organisation, and we strongly encourage participation in our cross-tribe guilds (e.g. architecture, data). As a senior developer, you will be encouraged to present your work at cross-team knowledge sharing sessions andmentor other team members so you will build a number of core transferable skills alongside your technical skills. You will also be encouraged to participate in our ongoing recruitment process by interviewing candidates and assessing technical tests when required.Responsibilities· Deliver efficient, stable and scalable software systems· Work closely with Technical Leads and Product Owners to deliver business value· Mentor junior team members· Champion HealthHero values and contribute to the continued success of the organisationEssential:· Nodejs, with experience of a web framework such as Koa or Express.· Previous front-end mobile development experience with React Native will be a big bonusDesirable:· GraphQL· NoSQL databases - we are using MongoDB· Amazon Cognito· Jira and Confluence· Agile software development - we follow a Kanban approach
