Mechanical Engineer - Product SupportLocation ChippenhamType ContractPay rate ExcellentDuration Min 6 Months - OngoingOur Chippenham based client is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical engineer who is flexible enough to work in the varied role of product support engineer.One minute you may be modelling on 3D CAD, the next you may be troubleshooting a problem in production. You could be creating new parts on their PLM system or amending an older drawing to meet modern requirements. You may be called upon to help to resolve an issue on the shop floor or to attend a meeting with senior managers. If you solve a problem you may be required to write a competent technical document to accompany it.Due to the long service life of their products a simple drawing change may require you to use a 3D CAD package, 2D CAD packages or even M.S. paint in some cases.
