You will also be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.You will be required to complete works in conjunction with all health and safety procedures, policies and legislation and work to deliver objectives and achieve behaviour competencies while working in a professional, respectful and courteous manner.About youIt is essential that you have experience of labouring duties in the maintenance or building related sector.You will assist in the undertaking of a range of planned and responsive maintenance repair works including: Concreting, Brickwork, Painting and Decorating, Fencing, Clearing properties, Plastering, Timberwork and Drainage.You will also be required to assist in the refurbishment of properties including; kitchens, bathrooms, disabled adaptations, roofs, communal areas and community buildings.You must have respect for safety and cleanliness of the workplace and be able to maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report faults.It is essential that you have strong time and workload management skills and excellent standards of personal organisation.A full UK driving licence is required for this role due to the travel required.BenefitsIn support and recognition of their colleagues who will help them deliver their employer strategy, they offer a fantastic benefits package.
