Job Description

IT Support Engineer Responsibilities:We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who can assist with the future growth and expansion of our IT and Tech Stack. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining our current systems and keeping our IT/Tech updated with the latest toolsand processes. The ideal candidate for this position is someone well-versed in Windows-based cloud computing solutions, cloud based ERP solutions and web applications such as Magento.This role requires a unique shift pattern which is the following:8.00 am to 5.00 pm Sunday to Thursday or9.00 am to 6.00 pm (45 hours per week including 45 minute paid lunch breaks)Please do not apply for this role if you can not commit to this.General Duties:

  • Support the IT Team in a technical capacity to deliver IT projects within time and budget.
  • Support the Warehouse with technical support on the Peoplevox WMS software and testing new shipping integrations.
  • Manage all computer hardware for the company including Sophos Cloud Protection and Office 365.
  • Responding in a timely manner to internal support tickets and service issues.
  • Support internal teams looking after Magento, Brightpearl and various REST API based applications - this will be something the ideal candidate can learn, but past experience with this tech is preferable.
  • Help drive efficiency with the tech stack where possible - deliver suggestions to the management team and help role out projects where applicable.
  • On a Sunday, provide support for the dispatch team - process orders across all sales channels required for next working day delivery.
  • Provide absence cover for the dispatch team, when required.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years successful IT experience
  • Experience with Office 365/Dynamics preferred
  • Experience of ERP systems - preferably Brightpearl but other ERP solutions experience would be considered
  • Must be able to complete complex projects with minimal to no supervision
  • Proven experience managing IT for clients or internal support
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Strong safety record and a history of establishing safe work practices
