Due to the secure nature of the programme/role, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through National Security Vetting to obtain this clearance. Your future duties and responsibilitiesThe Incident Manager will be responsible for supporting the concept and assessment phase to ensure the management of incidents, problems, and changes within the projects scope. You will support the lead in providing direction to operational teams during andafter incidents, identifying and understanding the underlying causes of an incident as well as identifying the best method to eliminate that root cause. You will plan, track, and assess the impact of the change management deliverables and ensure clear andtimely communication with all stakeholders throughout the process.- Receive and handle incidents, changes, and problems for support following agreed upon procedures.- Provide information to enable problem resolution and allocate unresolved incidents as appropriate.- Maintain records and advise relevant persons of actions taken.- Ensure that incidents, changes, and problems are handled according to agreed procedures.- Ensure that documentation of the supported components is available and in an appropriate form for those providing support.
