Job Description

General Administrator - Chippenham Our client is currently recruiting for a general administrator to work on an ongoing basis in Chippenham.As an Administrator you will have:

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritise tasks and workload to meet deadlines
  • A confident, professional phone manner and ability to answer calls with ease
  • Great oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to work within a team
  • Strong typing and numeracy skills
  • Good data entry and computer-based record-keeping skills
  • The ability to quickly learn new computer programmes and systems
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Good keyboard skills
Responsibilities:
  • Completing forms
  • Taking internal phone calls
  • Creating reports and organising data
  • Sorting through and processing information
  • Processing any time-sensitive requests
  • Understanding and interpreting data at a basic level
  • Maintaining and updating information held on a data base or manually
  • Scheduling and prioritising allocated work on a daily basis
  • Learning the procedures and understand parameters of producing a quality output
  • Reading, replying to and following up emails
  • Articulating and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and clients
Qualifications/Licences/Certifications/Experience
  • Maths and English GCSEs or equivalent
  • Valid Enhanced DBS is required, however we can provide it
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in Administrator or similar roles
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office
  • IT skills
  • Any experience you have working in an office, answering phone calls or keeping records, will be useful.
