Job Description

Our client, a leading production business based in Chippenham, Wiltshire is looking for a Fulfilment Manager to join them on a Permanent basis.As the Fulfilment Manager, you will lead the teams responsible for machine gluing, collation, packing, assembly, fulfilment, and dispatch. You will plan the workload, set KPIs and make sure work is completed accurately, on time and in the most efficientmanner.Main responsibilities:

  • Foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of jobs.
  • Support the strategic growth of the Production Department.
  • Identify areas that require improvement and implement positive changes.
  • To respond where necessary outside of core duties to support the business to support colleagues or achieve an objective.
  • Department P&L performance.
  • Manage the team by setting objectives, measuring performance, and giving continuous feedback, with the aim of continually lifting standards.
  • Ensures that SLA commitments are understood, documented and where possible exceeded.
Key skills and experience required:
  • Thorough knowledge and hands-on management experience within a production environment
  • Experience in using a variety of software packages relevant to the role. With the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A background operating at a managerial level is a must.
  • A passion for encouraging teamwork, focusing on creating an innovative culture where all employees can voice their suggestions and ideas.
  • Excellent team management and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
