This supports the creation of strong and vibrant communities.They make a difference to people’s lives - and this is something they want to continue doing, for more people, every day, and they have ambitious plans to simplify and modernise their organisation, to become a simply brilliant landlord.About the roleThey are currently recruiting for a Digital Workplace Specialist to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract.You will be responsible for leading on developing the Group’s electronic document management and records management system (EDRMS) and intranet in Microsoft SharePoint Online and Microsoft Office 365. Whilst the role will initially lead on document management and the implementation and development of computer systems to automate this, following this there will be wider responsibilities around the full suite of Office 365 and deployment and exploitation within the business as part of their digital transformation project.Working with colleagues, you will ensure that they are legally compliant with Data Protection legislation, more specifically the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and other relevant information management standards. You will provide specialist technical advice to develop and support organisational compliance with records management and information management processes.This role works within the Governance department, working with people at all levels of the organisation to develop and embed records management functions across the Group. The post holder is exposed to a high-level of sensitive information and has a wide-ranging remit in terms of subject matter and influence.The role is largely office-based although you have the opportunity to work from home, subject to work commitments. The position is a new position and you will join them at a very exciting time and at the very start of this major digital transformation project.About youIt is essential that you have previous practical records and information management experience including creating enthusiasm and commitment in these areas.You will have strong interpersonal skills; able to build rapport, confidence and trust quickly with a wide range of people. You must have previous experience of working across complex subjects and balancing multiple competing tasks.It is essential that you have SharePoint and Office 365 skills or comparable experience and the ability to use Windows systems for email, report writing and spreadsheets.BenefitsIn support and recognition of their colleagues who will help them deliver their employer strategy, they offer a fantastic benefits package.
