Job Description

CNC Miller required to join a well-established Engineering company based in the Chippenham area that provides a host of Engineering services including CNC machining, Designing and fabrication.The successful candidate will be capable of programming jobs direct form drawings using a Heidenhain TNC 370 System.CNC Miller - Programmer Setter Operator Position Overview

  • Programming, setting and operating a range of milling machines including Bridgeport VMCs.
  • Work collaboratively as a team to improve existing processes and quality control.
  • Maintain production records to comply with company procedures.
  • Work as part of a team as well as under own initiative.
CNC Miller - Programmer Setter Operator Position Requirements
  • Experience with Heidenhain controls on CNC machines.
  • Ability to Programme, Set and Operate
  • Bridgeport VMC machine experience would be a significant benefit
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and working with tight tolerances.
  • Previous experience working with a Heidenhain TNC 370 System would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
CNC Miller - Programmer Setter Operator Position Remuneration
  • 40 Hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexible shifts Monday to Friday
  • Salary £11 - £14 per hour (depending on experience)
  • 23 days holidays per year + BH
