Our Client is a leading solution provider to the Police, Criminal Justice, Emergency Services and Critical Responder sectors across the world; helping to deliver effective public services. For over 30 years they have been leading the way in solutions andservices for Emergency Services.They are looking for a Business Analyst to join their Business Analysis team on a permanent basis.As a Business you will work with Product Managers and other key stakeholders to elicit and analyse business requirements, both functional and non-functional, and build them into product backlogs to enable development teams to deliver product changes withindefined product release cycles. You will be involved in the end-to-end software development lifecycle from product idea to releasable software, following Agile / SCRUM principles, working closely with the product and development teams.Location: Chippenham offices and potentially client site visits within the UK)Salary: £45k - £55k per annum depending upon experienceSome of the key duties & responsibilities will involve:* Elicitation and analysis of business requirements for product change* Able to offer a range of potential solutions that would meet stakeholder requirements, along with benefits and disadvantages of each solution* Taking the initiative in planning and leading the analysis work needed for your assignments* Taking on SCRUM master duties where development teams need direction and structure* Building and maintaining expertise in SSS products and services* Build rapport with all stakeholders and reach out for support when required* Collaborate with the Analysis team (Business Analysts and UX Analysts) to agree a solution which meets the customers needs and within budgetOur ideal candidate will have/be:* Experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment working closely with product managers, owners, developers, and testers to build a product backlog for delivering product changes* Experience of working on technical challenges and solving them* Working experience of software development processes, with a solid understanding of SCRUM, agile and waterfall delivery methods* Experience of leading and facilitating workshops to gather requirements, decide options and design processes* Experience of Emergency Services / Public Safety (desirable)eSift have been appointed as the resource partner and we are managing this role on behalf of our client.
