Job Description

Key Account Manager, Major/National and Regional Developers and ContractorsHome based / field based, this role deals with existing accounts with key developers and contractors in the London area relating to the high-rise market.Monday to Friday role.Expansion position.Are you right for the rolePrevious successful hires to this role across the UK have come from both sales Account Management and non-sales backgrounds, such as Operations Managers, Design Managers, Contracts Managers, etc. It is more about the right person who has the skillset to dothe role.It is essential that you have excellent attention to detail to be successful in this role. You should be a self-motivated individual who has the communication and coordination skills to manage and grow existing accounts.Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels to help develop, sell and maintain existing relationships with all high rise developments you are given. Able to manage multiple projects positively prior to going live on site.Able to work well under pressure.Diligence is key with an attention to detail to extract information from the tenders packs to submit a compliant bid. Self-motivated and able to maintain deadlines. Willing to work as part of a dynamic team.You need strong organisational and administrative skills and be computer literate.You should have kitchen, bathroom or bedroom furniture experience and a driving licence too, as the role is field based covering an area.Is the role right for youThis is an account management role and you will be based at home as much as you are out visiting developer sites, likely more time based at home.You will be finalising the specification pre-tender and submitting all the relevant information to internal departments to arrange the design and quotations for pending schemes.
