Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be partnered exclusively with a Special Purpose Machinery manufacturer to recruit a Process Engineer for their site in North Derbyshire.My client is part of a multi-national organisation and specialise in the design & build of metal processing & recycling equipment and process plant design.Working within the Process Engineering team, you will specify, design, plan and deliver process solutions, ensuring that all engineering deliverables are submitted in line with the project execution schedule.The Process Engineers duties will include:* Responsible for content, preparation and review of Basis of design including Heat and mass balances, Process flow diagram, Piping and instrumentation diagram, Process operating and control philosophy, Cause and effect chart, Equipment sizing calculations,Hydraulic calculations, Line sizing calculations, Line, valve and instrument lists, Equipment data sheets, Utility calculations, Alarm and trip register and Hazard studies (HAZID, HAZOP, DSEAR assessment)* Checking for accuracy, completeness and fitness of all relevant and related documentation from third-party designers* Liaise with Suppliers to achieve technical clarity and proper equipment operation to Supplier warranty conditions, or agreed conditions* Assess submitted quotations for technical compliance and fitness for purpose, responding to technical queries and clarifications as necessary * Evaluate enquiries and select most suitable technology for given application.* Manage revision control of all documentation within the management structure.* To comply with the specification and implementation of European Directives and Standards for CE compliance or international standards relevant to the location of the project including ATEX* Assist with the development of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Operating Procedures, as well as Plant Maintenance Procedures and other associated documentation.Elevation Recruitment Group would be keen to speak to candidates with the following skills & experience:* Degree qualified in Process Engineering related discipline* Significant Process Engineering background, with a good understanding of CE compliance* Able to produce PFDs, P&IDs etc.* Experience with HAZID, HAZOP, ATEX, DSEAR etc.* Background working on Projects, able to assist with proposals, engage with suppliers etc.* Used to working on the full project lifecycle (from enquiry to commissioning)This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business.To apply for this position please send your application or call for all enquiries.Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist recruitment consultancy dealing with senior engineering, technical and operational positions in South Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
