Job Description

Marketing and Pricing AssistantBasic salary between £24,000 and £26,000 + bonus + benefitsBased in Markham Vale, ChesterfieldAre you looking for a new step in your career Want a trainee role thats going to let you grow and develop We have a fantastic opportunity to join a multi national company in their marketing and pricing department. Youll learn the ropes in both areas andbe involved in creating adverts, sending email marketing campaigns, helping manage the pricing list and make sure prices are always competitive with the rest of the market. If you have great communication skills, good excel and are keen to learn and developthis could be a fantastic opportunity for you!The Role:

  • Working within the marketing and pricing department, youll be learning both elements of the business and supporting the existing team.
  • The marketing part of the role will include creating newsletters and brochures, adverts and banners as well as creating, managing and reviewing email marketing campaigns for customers
  • You may get involved in trade shows from time to time
  • In terms of pricing, this is more of an administrative function. Youd be working from excel spreadsheets making changes to pricing structures and speaking with the sales department to get feedback on competitor pricing and dealing with any queries. Youmay also speak to customers from time to time if the query is pricing specific.
  • The most important thing in this role is that its a development position and, in time, youll be able to make the decision as to whether to go down a pricing path or a marketing path with your role and youll receive ongoing training throughout.
  • Working Monday to Friday, based at the office in Markham Vale.
The Person:
  • Were looking for someone who wants to learn and develop in a positive and supportive environment.
  • Youll have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and have intermediate level excel skills.
  • Potentially you could be a graduate looking for the first step in your career, or maybe an administrator looking for a more specialist role.
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to learn are key traits were looking for and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Youll need to be able to get to the office each day, there isnt an option for hybrid or home working.
The Package:
  • A basic salary of around £24,000 is offered with an annual bonus which would kick in from next year.
