This is an exciting time to join a very ambitious, focused and passionate business with expansive global growth plans.The role: Reporting into The Head of Marketing, this is the role for someone loyal, passionate and looking for a career with opportunities for future progression. The ideal candidate will be able to support with all Marketing and copywriting activities - always lookingfor ways to positively and proactively develop brand awareness.The individual will work closely with all teams across the business including Marketing, Product, Design, Technical and Sales.

  • Occasional weekend/evening work may be required for attendance at trade or consumer shows.
  • Opportunity to develop skills base through funded courses and training software.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to assist with all daily marketing activities, helping to ensure all deadlines are met or are ahead of schedule.
  • Managing broader department administration, including exhibition preparation, inventory monitoring and sales account support.
  • Support with the execution and analysis of both B2B and B2C campaigns and marketing collateral to drive brand awareness and education.
  • Write, edit, and proofread a variety of long and short copy in line with brand style and guidelines including product labels, press releases, blogs, email marketing, training guides, magazine articles, across various categories.
  • Manage marketing scheduling using Trello and other workspaces.
  • Proactively research and present ideas for content and campaigns in monthly Marketing meetings.
  • To monitor and analyse market, brand and competitor performance/activity and proactively recommend improvements to our activity.
  • Conduct ad-hoc market research, surveys and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and market insight.
  • Monitor and respond to incoming web and marketing enquiries.
  • Manage the internal newsletter.
  • Support the production of digital content for e-commerce platforms including copywriting and optimising new and existing content to create unique, engaging and informative product descriptions.
  • Learn and implement SEO best practices into your content and overall work.
  • PR support including sending out of samples, seeding and looking for ways to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Be confident with words and willing to adapt a writing style in line with brand guidelines and to suit different audiences.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Have an ability to work cross-functionally across relevant teams.
  • Be a team player, proactive, positive, enthusiastic and demonstrate a can do attitude.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to accept feedback and guidance.
  • Have computer literacy - Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Be degree-educated or able to demonstrate at least one years relevant copywriting or communications experience.
