Job Description

Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering with a PE backed business in Chesterfield as they look to recruit a Management Accountant.This role reports into the Finance Manager, and whilt you will be based in the Chesterfield office, you will actually ave reporting responsibility for a site operating in the South-West.Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility of producing the monthly Management Accounts in a timely manner, including month-end tasks such as accruals, prepayments anf maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Balance sheet review
  • Ensuring the good record keeping, including Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger
  • Ensuring the bank reconciliation is kept up to date
  • Keeping on top of Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting
  • Budgeting & cash-flow forecasting, including variance analysis
  • Management of part time staff
  • Remotely build relationships with the management team in the South-West
  • Process standardisation to follow best practice set by the Group
  • Continuous process improvement
Key skills / qualifications:
  • Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA, or qualified by experience (QBE)
  • Minimum of two years’ experience within a finance environment
  • Experience using Xero is desired, not essential
  • Confident in using Microsoft excel & its functions (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS)
  • Ability to manage time & ensure various reporting deadlines are met
  • Excellent attention to detail & communications skills
