Job Description

IT AdministratorDo you have excellent attention to detail Like working in a face paced environment. Able to work well under pressure and juggle many tasks at any given time If this sounds like you, please read on and click apply now!Our client is looking for an experienced administrator (IT knowledge is not essential but advantageous)The Purpose of this role is to accurately manage and maintain technology asset data, Evaluate IT equipment received for inspection/repair process and Work with procurement for: accurate asset identification, asset tagging and recording within repository,purchasing hardware.This will then enable their internal and external businesses to perform at their best, by supplying any essential EUC hardware/software needed.Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the management of technology assets in line with group processes and policies
  • Management and maintenance of accurate technology asset data.
  • Evaluate IT equipment received for inspection/repair process.
  • Provide operational reports as required.
  • Provide follow-up documentation for unusual occurrence reports for devices.
  • Ensure appropriate Health and Safety measures are followed.
  • Ensure requests are fulfilled in line with Service Level Objectives
  • Manage stock/spare equipment levels for new and replacement requests.
  • Fulfil requests for EUC hardware and software assets, including but not limited to: laptops, Chromebooks, mobile devices, desk phones, iPads, Office 365, Adobe suite.
  • Manage Assets through the entire asset lifecycle.
  • Ensure all technology assets received and shipped via the warehouse are accurately tracked.
  • Help to maintain end-of-life program for unsupported hardware.
  • Help prepare unwanted technology assets for final disposal.
  • Work with procurement for: accurate asset identification, asset tagging and recording within repository, purchasing hardware.
  • Help organise technology warehouse to ensure equipment is easily identified based on need (spares, stock, projects, etc.)
  • Maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Contribute to a culture of Continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to work well under pressure and juggle many tasks at any given time.
  • Data entry and basic analytical skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work well in a team.
