Geotechnical Estimator Chesterfield (Remote working available)£30,000 - £40,000 + Vehicle/Allowance + Healthcare + Holiday + PensionAre you an estimator looking to take their next step at an exciting company who is growing within the industryThis company focuses within the construction and civil engineering sector providing solutions to challenging projects across the market. They have seen healthy growth since being established and are looking to continue making inroads within the industry. Thiscompany is part of a well backed group and are looking for motivated candidates who want to invest themselves long term into the business.In this role you will be focused on tendering for new work in the likes of geotechnical stabilisation of soil/rock slopes and retaining walls (this will involve: drilling, anchoring, bolting/netting, sprayed concrete and soil nailing). You will be working fromthe start of a lead through to contract award or a range of these construction and maintenance schemes. There will be site visits for estimating, tender evaluation and calculation. A large part of this will be client facing to offer the best service possible.The ideal candidate will have experience estimating within the civil engineering industry. The ability to develop strategies for tenders would be desirable and also any previous experience with business development.
