Job Description

My client is a leading Chartered Independent Financial adviser firm based in Chester. They are recruiting for an experienced, IFA Administrator to work closely with a team offinancial advisers and Paraplanners to design, develop, and implement comprehensive financial plans that exceed clients expectations.Working onsite in the Chester office this is your chance to make a real impact on clients financial well-being. You will be a Financial Services Administrator who has experience of working within an IFA practice and is keen to develop and progress towardsparaplanning in time.Excellent benefits include:

The roleKey Responsibilities include:
  •  New business processing (investments, pensions, mortgages & life).
  •  Valuations.
  •  Client servicing, e.g., switches, rebalance, withdrawals etc.
  •  Dealing with policy enquiries.
  •  Telephone and reception duties as required
  •  General Admin support including call handling, post, typing, meeting and greeting clients.
Skills and experienceAn individual who is conscientious and demonstrates strong attention to detail with thrive within this
  •  You have previous experience of working within an Independent Financial Adviser practice
  •  You are organised & methodical
  •  You have excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
  •  You are organised and able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  •  You have effective communication skills
  •  You thrive working as part of a team
  •  You have strong IT skills, specifically in MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
  •  Experience of IO (Intelliflo) back office system would be an advantage
  •  Experience of some, or all, of the following platforms:
  •  Abrdn
  •  Aviva
  •  Aegon
