CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Formulation Chemist to join a cleaning chemicals manufacturing company at their site based near Cheshunt on a full time, permanent basis.The Company:Our client is a custom manufacturer of chemicals and products include cleaning chemicals for industry, biocidal products, automotive chemicals and more. The company is ISO9001 and 14001 certified and also provides customers with QC and technical services. They offer a salary in the region of £30-37,000 depending on experience and hours are 8.30-4.30 Monday - Friday. Interviews will take place in February, with an anticipated start date in or around March 2021.Location:This Senior Chemist role is located near Cheshunt, North London and is easily commutable by road from surrounding areas including Enfield, Epping, Potters Bar, Barnet and more.Senior Chemist Role:Your main duties will be:· Managing the laboratory day-to-day· Management of 1 member of staff· Hands on product development· Production of safety sheets· Keeping up to date with applicable legislation · Technical support to sales team· Occasional travel requiredRequirements:The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:· Proven industrial formulation experience· Knowledge of the cleaning chemicals industry would be beneficial· Ideally degree qualified in chemistry· Supervisory experience advantageous· Willingness to travel with workApply:Please quote reference 48904.It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
