Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Warehouse Operative to join the team in Chepstow.Multiskilled Warehouse OperativeChepstow, NP16 6UD

  • Full Time, Permanent
  • £24,356.80 or £11.71 p/h for day shift, £26,540.80 or £12.76 p/h for the afternoon shift
  • 5 out of 7 shift pattern

Oliver Kay continues to sit within Bidfresh, sister company to Bidfood, offering financial security and reassurance to customersand colleagues.This is an exciting time for us where we are opening a brand new site based in Chepstow to help support the growing demands within our other sites across the country. Everyone will be trained in advance to a high standard to make sure you all hit the groundrunning for our go live date.About The RoleWorking as part of the warehouse team, you will:
  • Ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of ambient, chilled and specialty products to feed the flow of business operations while providing Service Excellence to internal and external customers.
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders.
What Youll Be DoingYou will be multi skilled with the ability to operate within all aspects of the Warehouse following operational and admin processes and standards, including work within the Chilled and Ambient chambers, with particular emphasis on goods in, picking, dispatch.About You
  • MHE experience including PPT, LLOP, Reach Truck, with up to date certificates.
  • At least 1 years experience in a warehouse role.
  • Clear, precise and confident communication skills.
  • Thorough with a good attention to detail. Time management and work prioritisation skills.
Working HoursThis role follows a 5 out of 7 shift pattern, with daytime shift of 06:00-14:30, and afternoon shifts of 14:30-23:00.However, candidates will need to have a level of flexibility due to the nature of our work.Salary £24,356.80 or £11.71 p/h for day shift, £26,540.80 or £12.76 p/h for the afternoon shiftBenefits
