Job Description

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerklooking for your next challengeWe have an incredible opportunity available with ahighly successful organisation looking for someone to join their team in Chepstow.What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • Handling all tasks related to Purchase Ledger, including invoice processing, supplier statement reconciliations, and preparation of payment runs.
  • Maintaining the Master Contract Schedule by adding new orders and updating contract information.
  • Conducting Purchase Analysis to assess purchasing patterns and trends. • Performing Cost of Sales Analysis to evaluate the expenses associated with sales activities.
  • Compiling the monthly credit card statement and acquiring receipts for the finance departments processing.
  • Assisting in preparing payment certificates for subcontractors.
  • Supporting the Purchasing Manager in managing Purchase Orders.
  • Assisting with stock control activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient data entry skills and prior experience in administration.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and effective communication skills.
